We know that it's difficult to find housing in the private sector at the moment, particularly in the face of increasing costs of utility bills and cost of living.

Alongside the information in our Private Housing Guide, we've pulled together some additional suggestions to help you on your private housing search:

Tips

Private halls of residence

Many private halls of residences have vacancies later into the summer. They can be more expensive so may not be suitable for every budget, but we've collected a list of private halls in London.

Commuting

In order to suit your budget, you may need to consider living slightly further away from campus. The average Londoner commutes between 40-50 minutes and students can save 30% off their transport costs with TfL. Learn more about where to search

Living with a landlord
