Centenary Communications do the Double at Design Comp

Imperial College triumphed recently, with the collection of two awards of excellence at the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) Annual Design Competition. The entries were two of 166 award recipients selected from 1,500+ entries.

The first winning entry was for a set of ten Imperial 100 beer mats, especially designed for the launch of Imperial 100 ale, brewed in celebration of Imperial's Centenary which is taking place this year. The beer mathighlight facts from the College's rich history meaning you’ll never be short of interesting conversation in the College’s bars again!

Imperial's Centenary website also received an award of excellence. This is the second recognition for the website, as in June it features as the Website of the Week for Communication Arts magazine. The website was a joint production of Imperial's Communication Division and outside design firm, SAS.

The entries were judged on concept, design, illustration and printing. The UCDA is the international professional organisation for college and university graphic designers.
