Faculty of Medicine Scholarships 2017/18

Applications are now open for our Faculty of Medicine Scholarships, which will award up to ten fee-only scholarships to new students.

We are currently offering two scholarship programmes:

• The Dean’s Master’s Scholarship

Up to eight scholarships available for applicants to study an MSc or MRes course run by the Faculty of Medicine.

• The Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship

A new scholarship programme for the Faculty of Medicine, offering up to two scholarships for lab-based MSc or MRes Master’s Programmes.

About the scholarships

The Faculty of Medicine Scholarships are open to both Home and EU students applying for either part-time or full-time study. In total, up to ten will be available for Home/EU students across the two schemes.

All students who have applied to study an MSc or MRes course run by the Faculty of Medicine beginning in October 2017 are welcome to apply for the scholarships. Selection will be carried out by a team of academics from across the Faculty who will be looking for the candidates who can best prove their academic, research or career potential.

All applications for the Faculty of Medicine Scholarships should be made online. Please see our website for more information. The closing date for applications is 25 April 2017. Candidates will be notified of a decision no later than 30 June.
