The Resource Geophysics Academy (RGA) at Imperial College London aims to conduct original research in the broad field of geophysics and its applications in the resources industry. It also offers a wide range of research opportunities to PhD students in the field of resource geophysics.

RGA is offering two PhD scholarships in Reservoir Geophysics to the current MSc students at Imperial College London. The successful PhD applicants, who are expected to matriculate in autumn 2024, will receive a full scholarship to cover both overseas student fees and a stipend for living in London.

These Sinopec scholarships provide an excellent opportunity for well-qualified students to study for a PhD in reservoir geophysics at Imperial College London and then enter into a five-year employment contract with Sinopec.

In addition, one of the best student will receive a tuition fee reimbursement prize for his/her current MSc programme at Imperial College London.
