Welcome to the Mohn Centre for Children’s Health and Wellbeing and Centre for Paediatrics and Child Health (PaeCH) Joint Seminar series 2024

We are delighted to announce that Professor Franco Sassi will be giving a seminar in May titled: ‘Tackling Childhood Obesity – How & Why?’

Franco Sassi will explore the rationale for policies to tackle childhood obesity, and evidence of the effects of alternative policy approaches. The talk will be mainly based on evidence produced in projects Franco Sassi has been leading, including the Horizon 2020 project Science and Technology in Childhood Obesity Policy (STOP) and the Childhood Obesity and Human Capital Development (COHD) project, funded by the Health Foundation, both of which were designed in collaboration with Imperial College’s School of Public Health.

Please note this event takes place online only.

This seminar is jointly organised by the Mohn Centre for Children’s Health and Wellbeing and the Centre for Paediatrics and Child Health (PaeCH) at Imperial College London. If you would like to present as part of this monthly seminar series please contact mohncentre@ic.ac.uk.
