Our Centre brings together Imperial and Natural History Museum researchers working on a wide range of natural hazards, including: earthquakes, volcanism, landslides, tsunami, and impacts.
Our research ranges from improving understanding of the source mechanisms to assessing hazard and risk, to mitigation of the consequences.
We develop and use state-of-the-art numerical modelling techniques as well as using advanced geological, geophysical, remote sensing and geochemical data collection and analysis techniques.
