Head and brain injuries are significant healthcare issues for both military personnel and civilians. Centre researchers are working to mitigate head and brain injuries, and to improve the lives of those who have suffered such injuries. Much of the Centre's work focuses on traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) which can happen as a result of sports injuries, road traffic accidents and bomb blasts.
