Imperial College Boat Club was founded in 1919 by Charles Bristow in order to enable oarsmen from the constituent colleges of Imperial to compete together at Henley. Since then, Imperial crews have gone on to win at Henley more than 20 times, and Imperial's athletes have also won gold and silver medals at the Olympic Games.
We are located on the Putney Embankment, easily accessible from the College campus and we cater for rowers of all ability and experience levels from novice to elite.
Our season runs from September until the final event and peak of the season in July: Henley Royal Regatta. We also compete at numerous other regattas through the year, both in the UK and abroad in Europe.
It doesn't matter if you've never been in a boat before, or if you're training to make the national team - we can provide the training program and environment to enable you to reach your full potential.
