I am a third year PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University Malaya and Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London. My research is focused on fluid-structure interaction (FSI) models to predict the treatment outcomes for type B aortic dissection patients.
I completed my Bsc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering at University Sains Malaysia. During my final year undergraduate studies, I completed my first research project in the field of membrane technology to improve the antifouling properties on ultrafiltration membrane for oily wastewater. Being passionate about research, I am fortunate to be supported by supervisors, group members and research funds to continue my PhD journey in my home country and in London. The research journey is very encouraging and rewarding. I meet people around the world to learn and appreciate their cultures, and grow interest in travelling, apart from playing piano.
