Future vaccines research and development: advancing the manufacturing and deployment of cost-effective vaccines in a changing landscape
21 May 2018 at Imperial College London
KTN held this event, in partnership with Imperial College, on 21st May in London. The meeting brought together the vaccine development and manufacturing community in human health in the UK, to learn about the latest innovative technologies, hear about current UK capabilities and Department of Health and Social Care investments to date, the work of the UK Vaccine Network, Future Vaccines Manufacturing Research hub(s) and also potentially future opportunities for funding through mechanisms such as the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
Approximately 50 delegates attended on the day from the wider sector. Thanks to the support of our hosts, and supporters, KTN was able to deliver this meeting as a free event for the community. The event aligned with the KTN’s activities in medicines bioprocessing and manufacturing, as well as the Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership (MMIP).
