Summer Students

We generally host 1-2 summer students each year for UROP projects or similar. Unfortunately, we don't have any more spaces for summer 2024.

PhD Students

There is an opportunity to join our project with Dr. Jack Devlin to detect dark matter.

For more information, please contact Dr. Jack Devlin.

The BASE experiment, with which we collaborate, is also seeking PhD students to work in Mainz (Germany) and at CERN. This experiment makes precision comparisons of the properties of protons and antiprotons as a way of testing fundamental symmetries. You can find links to the adverts here:

If you would like to discuss the opportunities at BASE informally, please contact Dr. Jack Devlin.

Postdoctoral Researchers

We are currently recruiting a postdoc for the dark matter detection project, for more information please see this Job Advert.

There are many postdoctoral fellowships (e.g. Royal Society Newton, European Commission Marie Curie, EPSRC Doctoral Prize and many country specific mobility schemes), some of which are listed on the Imperial College Webpages. If you'd like to hold one of these fellowship in our lab, please do get in touch as early as possible so we can discuss your proposal and any application steps. Be aware that there are usually Imperial College specific deadlines many months before external funder deadlines, so allow plenty of time.
