Ultrasound Image Guided Manipulator Assisted System for Minimally Invasive Endo-Neurosurgery. This project is currently being worked on by Stephen Starkie, in his first year as a PhD student. The main aim of the project is to develop a robot capable of assisting in Endoscopic Surgery. The system will help guide a NeuroEndoscope into the Cerebral Cortex in order to perfom minimally invasive procedures such as may be required for tumour removal.
