Researchers are investigating innovative drug substance purification techniques including peptide chromatography. Integrated HPLC systems and processes will be developed which will allow significant reductions in the cost and time of performing advanced analytical chemistry; this is required for the effective purification of drug substances. Researchers will develop a framework that identifies the optimal combination of separation techniques and configuration that will achieve the effective drug substances purification and isolation.
