Robot DE NIRO

Design Engineering's Natural Interaction Robot: a 200 kg dual-arm mobile manipulation robot that we affectionately call "DE NIRO". It is based on a heavily modified Baxter robot with a mobile wheelbase, a liftable torso, bespoke hands, 3D LIDAR and many additional sensors.

OmniBot

A multi-purpose omnidirectional (i.e. holonomic) robotic platform for research in mobile manipulation. There is a 6-degree-of-freedom EVA robot arm, and a 2-fingered robot hand for grasping objects.

DogBot

A quadrupedal robot dog. Lightweight and agile, the perfect robot for fast locomotion over rough terrain. We are working on its gait generation and improving its speed and efficiency of walking.
