Construction news
Our vision for White City Campus is to build a space where great ideas grow. We have already come a long way: over the past decade, thousands of square metres have been completed and our new spaces are already in use by researchers, businesses, and the local community.
Now, three big projects remain. At our north site, we are proposing to develop new student accomodation on Plot A which sits at the corner of Shinfield Street and Wood Lane. The development would comprise 212 studios and 425 sqm of commercial space.
The School of Public Health is currently under construction and due to complete end of November 2022. The building will commence with its' fit out and be ready for occupation by summer 2023. Find out more about the School of Public Health.
At our south site, we are developing a 14-acre plot between the Westway and Wood Lane as part of the White City south site masterplan. The site will feature 180,000 square metres of research space, 373 new homes, and retail space with shops, cafés, and restaurants. There will be event spaces for performances, socials, or science and technology exhibitions. And the whole site will be linked together by a series of footpaths and green spaces, to keep White City scenic and sustainable.
