Safety training
Training Need Analysis (TNA)
Managers and supervisors in every Faculty, Division and Department are responsible for identifying training needs of all persons working under their supervision, and for ensuring that these needs are addressed. This identification process should be a formal one and should be used in conjunction with current job descriptions.

Recommended safety training courses
There are a number of safety education and training courses offered through the Organisational and Staff Development Department. Many courses are free to staff and contractors.

Month One Safety Training (MOST)
Month One Safety Training (MOST) is an on-line resource for learning about the College's hazards and how we manage them. It should be taken by all staff, students, visitors, contractors, tenants and spin-out companies working on College campuses.

Risk Assessment Foundation Training (RAFT)
For Managers and Supervisors Risk Assessment Foundation Training (RAFT) is an important part of the College’s Month One Safety Training. It is a comprehensive, realistic and practical on-line course which has been designed to help staff learn about the College’s risk assessment process.
