Get to know more about IGHI
At the Institute of Global Health Innovation, our staff bring a mix of expertise and backgrounds including medical doctors and surgeons, entrepreneurs, economists, as well as coming from a range of industries and countries.
The diversity of our staff is reflected in the breadth of global health and healthcare projects we work on. Examples of projects we have worked on in the last year include:
- The Real-time Assessment of Community Transmission (REACT) Study – a series of studies that are using home testing to improve our understanding of how the COVID-19 pandemic is progressing across England.
- CCopeY: Examining young people's mental health in the UK during COVID-19 – a study that aims to explore the mental health and coping strategies of young people (aged 16-24) in the UK during and after COVID-19 lockdown.
- Innovating end-of-life care for children – researching and designing innovative prototypes that can help define the future of children’s hospice care.
- Assessing the Barriers to Breast Screening (ABBS) study – a study to understand the challenges women face when deciding whether or not to attend breast screening appointments.
