Our programme provides training that equips students with the skills and knowledge they will need to become a future leader in their field. We do this by providing students with training opportunities that address key skills shortages identified below; an aspect which gives distinct advantage in future employment prospects.
How the training is structured
During the first year, the cohort attends four two-day workshops in areas NERC has identified as priority skills.
Each training session is delivered by a team of academics and external organisations in a dynamic and interactive way.
A list of training courses can found of pages 8 &9 of the current student handbook.
