PhD title: CNN based threat detection in 3D CT images.
Supervisors: Prof. Deeph Chana, Prof. Washington Yotto Ochieng.
Angelos works with AI methods to detect emerging threat materials and objects on X-ray baggage scanner images. Prior to this, he worked for several years as a machine learning and software engineer.

Supervisors: Prof. Washington Ochieng, Dr. William Proud, and Dr. Gareth Tear
Duke is utilising AI and data mining techniques to model unbalanced data and behavioural patterns for exceptional events. This research emphasises security and resilience in infrastructure and transport areas, using unique datasets to refine machine learning strategies for highly skewed distributions.

Rob’s professional interests are centered at the national security intersection of finance, technology, and Defence, underpinned by those relationships between the private sector, academia, and public sector.
