Scholarship Opportunities for 2024 entry
The National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI) is delighted to be able to award one scholarship to students of the Cardiovascular and Respiratory Healthcare MSc programme commencing 2024/2025 academic year.
Scholarships applications for 2024-25 entry have now closed.
This scholarship will be for the sum of £3,000 and is available to students who have applied to start the first academic year of the MSc Cardiovascular and Respiratory Healthcare in 2024.
The scholarship will only be available to students whose aim is to complete the full MSc.
Eligibility
Applications are welcome from any student who has submitted an application to start the course in 2024.
The scholarship is available to both Home and Overseas students. The student awarded the scholarship will receive £3,000 towards their total course fees.
How to apply
Applications should be submitted through our application form and a supporting CV should be sent to cardioresphealth@imperial.ac.uk.
You will be asked to provide a personal statement outlining why you want to study with us and what you aspire to do on completion of the MSc.
Guidance to applicants on the personal statement
Take your time to compose your personal statement. Be yourself.
The best personal statements are based on the applicant’s own honest reflections about their plans and the way to get there. You may need to make more than one draft before submitting your final statement.
The question is really asking, “based on what you know about the course, why do you want to do the MSc and what do you hope to 'take away' from it that will support your future career plans?”.
Deadline
Applications for 2024 entry will close on 31 May 2024. The decision will be communicated by the end of July to all applicants.
Please note that your CV will need to be sent separately to cardioresphealth@imperial.ac.uk and your application will not be considered until it is received.
Evaluation process
All applications will be initially checked for eligibility. Applications will then be reviewed by the panel and evaluated.
The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who is deemed by the panel to have the greatest potential in their chosen field and will gain from studying with us.
