If you received a conditional offer from Imperial it will set out all the conditions you need to meet before we can confirm your place.
This may include evidence of academic grades and your proficiency in English language.
You will need to satisfy all of the conditions listed in your offer before you can register at Imperial.
Feel settled and at home when you study with Imperial. Choose from GradPad’s postgraduate halls, our halls of residence at Silwood Park Campus or private accommodation. If you choose to go private and your course starts in late September, the best time to start looking for a place to live is between June and August.
Use our property search website to find properties and connect with other Imperial students looking for housemates with Imperial Home Solutions.
Student Visas
If you don’t have a full British passport, settled or pre-settled status in the UK, or hold another visa that allows you to study in the UK for your entire course, you’ll need a student visa.
Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
To apply for a student visa, you’ll need your CAS. Once you’ve met your offer's conditions, the Admissions team will send it via email. You can only apply for your visa once you have your CAS and within six months of your start date.
Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS)
For some, an ATAS certificate is a condition of an offer. You’ll need this before you apply for a visa and should submit evidence of ATAS clearance to the Admissions team by 19 July 2024.
We know you need answers to questions when starting a postgraduate course; that’s why we have many ways to learn about Imperial. In our webinar series, you can hear from students and staff at a time that suits you.
