Minimum entry requirements
We accept a wide range of qualifications for entry to undergraduate study at Imperial.
The standards listed below for each accepted qualification are the minimum admission requirements for entry to Imperial.
Many of our courses have higher entry requirements than the minimum standard stated here.
Please visit our course pages to see course-specific entry requirements for all accepted UK and international qualifications.
If we make you an offer, it may also be at a higher level than the minimum entry level stated for your department.
Entry to Medicine MBBS (A100)
Not all qualifications listed here are accepted for entry to our Medicine MBBS (A100) course. See the Medicine course page for details of accepted qualifications.
Assessing qualifications to determine equivalencies to GCE A-levels
We use guidance from UK ENIC, as well as data published by qualification councils and governments from various countries. We also look at how well students with different entry qualifications have done on our courses in the past. All of this helps us decide if an international qualification is equivalent to GCE A levels.
