URGENT PEANUT ALLERGY ADVICE: Avoid consuming any items containing mustard
Please do not consume any food or drink items that contain or may contain mustard (mustard, mustard powder or mustard flours) if you have a peanut allergy.
If mustard is present, it will be clearly labelled in bold on the packet or listed on the display card next to each item. Please be aware and avoid any items that possess a 'may contain' label. If you are unsure, please speak with a member of staff or your event organiser.
The Food Standard Agency (FSA) has advised that mustard ingredients may have been contaminated with peanuts. The FSA has traced the contamination to a third-party producer and has identified one company who has supplied these ingredients for use in UK food. The individual products are yet to be identified, however, due to the severity of some peanut allergy sufferers, the FSA is advising that these precautionary steps are put in place to keep allergy sufferers safe.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. We will inform you when the individual products have been identified and when we can confirm that our food and drink items (containing mustard) are safe to consume for peanut allergy sufferers.
The food that we serve may contain ingredients that you and your delegates may be allergic to.
