Centre for Infrastructure Robotics Ecosystems
A cross-disciplinary Centre integrating expertise in robotics, sensor networks, AI, data science, business innovation and environmental policy, for a more sustainable and safer management of infrastructures in cities, undergrounds and offshore environments.
Future cities and industry 4.0 sites are evolving into complex ecosystems where autonomous and semi-autonomous robots coexist with people, and are able to operate in symbiosis with the environment as part of a smart infrastructure system.
At CEIRE, we combine cross-faculty expertise to design advanced robotics technologies to be integrated in the infrastructure management workflow to achieve lower operating costs, a reduced environmental impact and improved worker’s safety.
