Your space to grow
The Imperial White City Incubator provides world-class wet lab incubation space in West London's vibrant science and innovation district.
The White City Incubator is Imperial’s innovation hub for deep science startups.
For new spinout companies, finding laboratory space can be a difficult, time-consuming and expensive process, particularly if your business requires specialised labs – and even more so if you are based in London. When you’re getting your business off the ground, the last thing you need is to have to spend time and energy worrying about establishing the necessary facilities, labs and office space.
That’s where Imperial’s White City Incubator comes in. Based at Imperial’s White City Campus, the Incubator offers flexible laboratory space that’s ideal for new and growing deep tech companies, for a three-year incubation period.
We have fitted CL2 laboratories with access to shared equipment rooms, autoclaves, glass washers, ice machine, purified water sink, and lab coat laundry. These are supported by a dedicated lab manager and administration team, to help maintain your operations and keep you safe, secure and organised. We also offer a range of private offices, private meeting rooms, collaboration areas and event spaces to suit your needs.
But the Incubator doesn’t just provide working space: it’s a community and a support system.
As an Incubator company, you’ll have access to many networking and development opportunities, including social events that bring together industry and academics, industry seminars and networking lunches.
The White City Campus as a whole is designed as an entrepreneurial ecosystem – a platform for innovation, entrepreneurship and multidisciplinary research. It is located at the centre of the growing White City Innovation District, and for medical-related companies is conveniently close to Hammersmith Hospital and Imperial’s Hammersmith Campus.
And you’ll have access to a range of support through Imperial Enterprise’s Incubation team, including expert business coaching and mentoring [LINK: C9]. They’ll work with you to identify opportunities across Imperial, and help you make connections with people that can help you. The more developed companies in the Incubator often mentor new startups so they can learn from others’ experience.
Imperial’s White City Incubator was awarded West London Business Incubator of the Year 2022
