The Research Governance and Integrity Team (RGIT) exists to support the College and its researchers to meet the requirements of research regulatory governance and integrity ensuring that Imperial fulfils the legal, ethical and scientific obligations of the healthcare research process.
RGIT supports both NHS and non-NHS Healthcare research and human impact non-healthcare research across the College and also provides a service to Imperial College Healthcare Trust. For overall governance information and how to set-up a research project please see the research governance and clinical project planning links, separate sections within these have been provided for specific NHS and healthcare research. For non-NHS and non-healthcare research ethics please see our Imperial College Research Ethics Committee (ICREC) and Science, Engineering and Technology Research Ethics Committee (SETREC) web-pages.
Our SOPs and Associated Documents-Templates also provide further information on all aspects of study set up and management, predominately for healthcare research.
