The next public debate in “The Big Questions” series organised by the Astrophysics Group at Imperial College London is “The Fate of the Universe: Does Dark Energy Exist?” where Professor Andrew Jaffe vs. Professor Subir Sarkar discuss the existence of the mysterious dark energy.
Professor Andrew Jaffe is Professor of Astrophysics and Cosmology at Imperial College London. He is a scientist and co-investigator for the Planck Surveyor Satellite and author of a blog entitled “Leaves on the Line”.
Professor Subir Sarkar is Professor of Theoretical Physics at Oxford University. He is a participant in the Pierre Auger cosmic rays observatory and in the IceCube observatory at the South Pole.
