POWERful Women
POWERful Women is a professional initiative that seeks to promote the growth and leadership development of women across the energy sector. It has been championing the greater representation of women at the top of the industry since 2014, when the initiative was launched by Baroness Verma and former MP and now energy consultant Laura Sandys. Its goals are to see 30% of executive board roles and 40% of management roles filled by women by 2030.
