The Summer Accelerator, run in partnership with Imperial College Business School, enables Imperial Founders to boost the development of their startup and become investment ready. The programme ends with a pitch event in October where teams showcase their startups. Join us to discover innovations in healthcare and wearable devices, climate solutions and more, and meet the talented people behind them.

The seven startups who will be pitching live on the night are: 

aiKNIT – a programmable textile device that facilitates faster and more effective healing of musculoskeletal conditions, designed to look like a fashion garment 

ElectroPET –  An innovative process for recycling PET plastic into its constituent monomers, which then enables conversion into green hydrogen

INNOGEN – Revolutionising erectile dysfunction treatments using an optimised platelet-rich plasma system which promotes tissue and nerve repair

Neubond – Personalised home rehabilitation devices for stroke patients to enhance their recovery and address their mobility constraints

NEX.Q – An AI based infection diagnostic tool to stop the spread of hospital-acquired infections

Papcup – Reinventing the cervical smear process with a convenient, non-invasive test designed for self-use

Wearitech – an ECG monitoring shirt that continuously measures heart-activity and alerts the user to abnormal heart rhythms to prevent sudden cardiac death

The Summer Accelerator Pitch Event is your chance to meet the impressive founders behind these innovations and hear them persuade the judges that they have what it takes to scale their ventures. Following the presentations, there will be networking over refreshments.
