students in lecture room

Our second-year undergraduate students in Mechanical Engineering are giving technical presentations on a scientific topic their interested in – we’d like to invite year 12 and 13 groups for a unique opportunity to be their audience to experience what it’s like being a student studying STEM here at Imperial.

Mechanical engineers create, manufacture and maintain the building blocks of the modern world – from cars and buildings through to aeroplanes and space stations. Mechanical engineering combines science, maths and computing with creativity and imagination, to solve problems and create solutions.

In each 90-minute session, your students will hear six talks on a range of mechanical engineering topics with the chance to ask any questions they may have. The sessions are running for six weeks during October to December:

•   Tuesdays 16.00-17.30 from 29 October to 3 December 2024

•   Thursdays 10.00-11.30 from 31 October to 5 December 2024

This is a great opportunity for your students to see what undergraduate students learn, get a feel for engineering and explore our South Kensington Campus.
