Join us for a taster session on how to be a Change Maker and make your degree count.

Do you ever wonder how you could use your degree in the real world, or how YOU could take on global challenges?

These are the types of questions we pose in our Change Makers modules on the Imperial Horizons programme. We ask what it takes to be a Change Maker and how to make a positive impact on yourself, others, and the world. Take a look at our list of modules available to 1st year undergraduates.

This academic year, Change Makers are teaming up with Imperial College Union‘s Emina Hogas (DP Education) and Nico Henry (DP Welfare) to deliver a taster workshop. In a lively 2-hour session, you can sample our approach and consider how you can work towards the aims and visions you have for yourself and the wider world.

We will interrogate your ambitions, explore which Sustainable Development Goals they relate to, and assess which competencies are required to achieve them. We will ask you to evaluate yourself against our Change Makers skill set and offer suggestions as to how to develop yourself further.

We will complement this with a discussion on student welfare and a recognition of the importance of caring for our own well-being and that of others. The workshop will explore how you can leverage your studies holistically to develop positively in multiple ways.

To express your interest or ask questions, please email Nico Henry (DP Welfare).
