As part of its decentralised, hands-on spinout support, ChemEng Enterprise is launching a new Spinout Workshop Series.
The workshops are intended for ChemEng academics and researchers who are in the process of launching, preparing or thinking about a spinout from their IP intensive research.
Each workshop will have a theme and cover a detailed aspect of the process from a very practical viewpoint, addressing the what, how, who, when of actually doing it. It will provide a forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences between our aspiring entrepreneurs, external experts, industry players, and some of our startuppers who have been through the ropes.
Participants will gain an improved awareness of key issues and mechanisms, and useful contacts.
We plan 3 workshops in the Autumn term and 3 in the Spring/Summer.
All workshops will be held in the ChemEng Senior Common Room (DCR | 228).
