This one day symposium at The Francis Crick Institute, will bring together over 200 researchers from The Crick, Imperial, UCL, King’s College, LSHTM and Birkbeck College. It will bring together those who already work on malaria with other scientists who work in related disciplines which may be relevant to malaria. The aim of the event is to encourage greater collaboration across the London malaria research community and to develop a vision of how we can collectively contribute to the Global Challenges of malaria. Through presentations and breakout sessions the event will be structured to foster interactions between institutions and between junior and senior researchers, and to encourage imaginative and innovative solutions for defeating malaria.
