Bio
I am an MRes Neurotechnology student in the BICI lab of the Bioengineering Department at Imperial. I received my bachelor’s in Biomedical Science at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. My dissertation explored the use of morphological markers in T1-weighted MRI scans with 3D software to describe possible patterns of Alzheimer’s disease to facilitate early diagnosis. I am interested in neuroscience, computational neuroscience, machine learning, and computer vision. My MRes thesis focuses on analysing a convolutional neural network model of the visual system to draw inferences on how visual data is integrated with proprioceptive information to create a coherent sense of body position and movement. My ultimate goal is to use an interdisciplinary approach that combines machine learning and neuroscience, bridging the gap between different levels of analysis and developing comprehensive models of how neural pathways process information.
