Young Topology Meeting UK 2014

• Talks are to be 20 minutes long. This will allow as many people as possible to present their work.
• Please bear in mind that although topologists, attendees will be working in different branches of the field. As such, talks should aim to be understandable on an overview level by non-specialists.
• We have whiteboards and computers for slide shows available. Please let us know if you need anything special (We have rope, glue, scissors etc in the office).

• Some funding is available for travel inside the UK by PhD students and postdocs based within the UK, provided by the TCC (see below). However, the amounts available will depend largely on the number of people requiring support - so if at all possible participants are encouraged to try and find other means of funding. Further details on funding available to individual registrants will be relayed after the deadline.

Once you reach London: There is a journey planner available. The closest underground station to Imperial College is South Kensington (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines).

We strongly advise obtaining an Oyster card for travel in London - it halves fares in general, and automatically charges minimum fares. Those in possession of 16-25 railcards can link them to their oyster card for even lower fares - and the £5 deposit is fully refundable. They are available at most underground ticket machines.
