Chenghong Bian received his BSc degree in Mathematics and Physics department from Tsinghua University in 2020 and MSc (PhD -> MS due to the US visa) in EECS department from University of Michigan in 2022. He joined the Intelligent System and Networks Group at Imperial College London as a PhD student in October 2022.

His current research interests are information theory, signal processing and semantic communications. His past research work has involved deep joint source-channel coding, MIMO-OFDM system and deep learning-based channel coding.
