I am a Research Associate at the Intelligent Systems and Networks Group at Imperial College London since January 2017. Before that, I was a Senior Researcher at the Communications and Distributed Systems laboratory at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Bern, Switzerland, working on network coding and future Internet architectures for video delivery.
I received a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering in October 2013 from the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, and a Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in July 2008 from the School of Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During my PhD studies, I was working as a research assistant at the Signal Processing Laboratory (LTS4) at EPFL on the optimisation of network coding techniques for multimedia data delivery.
My research interests include network coding, multimedia communications, information-centric networking, Internet of Things, signal processing and application of machine learning to communication problems.
