Yassine Hamdi has been a PhD student at the Intelligent Systems and Networks Group at Imperial College London since October 2021. He previously undertook his preparation for selective Engineering schools entrance exams (CPGE MPSI-MP* in French) in Lycée du Parc (Lyon, France). Following this he graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (Palaiseau, France) where undertook research in applied Probability Theory. Subsequently, he received his MSc degree from the University of Paris-Saclay (Orsay, France) in Statistics and Machine Learning.
He is interested in how Information Theory and Deep Learning can be applied to optimize the use of resources in telecommunications, particularly in Distributed Inference.
