Research Associate/Assistant positions

Two methods:

a) People who have (or have identified) a suitable source of funds e.g. (Marie Curie Fellowships, http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/) and are interested to apply with a reasonable chance of success (this means you need to be first name author on 5+ papers in good quality journals). b) Open positions. All positions are advertised and links to those positions will be shown below. Please follow contact details in the advertisement. Unfortunately, if there is nothing below then there are currently no open positions.

PhD studentships

Three methods:

a) People who have (or have identified) a suitable source of funds e.g. (personal funds, scholarships, http://www.imperial.ac.uk/study/pg/fees-and-funding/scholarships/) and are interested to apply with a reasonable chance of success (this means you need to be first name author on 2+ papers in good quality journals, or have other evidence of outstanding promise). Please contact Anthony Kucernak with details of the position and why you think you will be successful. Please include in the email subject line [Funded Studentship].

b) Open studentships, which will be displayed below. These may have specific requirements. Please follow contact details in advertisement.

c) Home students (fulfil UK residency status) and willing to apply for a (competitively assigned) departmental studentship. Please contact Anthony Kucernak with details of the position and why you think you will be successful - mark with [Home Studentship] in email heading.
