Severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) is the major cause of death and disability in people of working age. TBI patients face long periods of care within a specialist neurointensive care unit. This project aims to develop a new generation of brain monitoring devices that can visualize the pattern of neurochemical changes caused by the evolving injury.
