I completed a PhD working in The Imperial College Centre for Synthetic Biology under the supervision of Dr Tom Ouldridge, Dr Rodrigo Ledesma Amaro, and Dr Danny O’Hare. My research interest lies in controlling gene expression using a SynBio-based electronic toolbox.
I graduated in Biotechnology at Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in 2018. During this time, I took part in the iGEM competition and found out the enormous potential of the Synthetic Biology field. For this reason, I did the MRes in Systems and Synthetic Biology at Imperial College London.
During my master's project, I studied the potential impact of RNA nanotechnology and feedback circuits in synthetic biology under the supervision of Dr Wooli Bae, Dr Tom Ouldridge, and Dr Guy-Bart Stan. Thanks to this experience, I learned the importance of working in a multidisciplinary team where the expertise of a field can take advantage of another.
I have now moved to the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry in Cambridge.
