The third Imperial Space Lab Annual Conference, organized by the Faculty of Natural Sciences Corporate Partnerships team on 29th September, was yet again a great success. It attracted over 200 people ranging from academics, researchers and space sector representatives as well as government and funding bodies.

The theme of the 2015 event was Collaboration and Co-Creation. Among the presenters were Imperial’s space researchers: Dr Gabrielle Thomas, Professor Tom Pike and Professor Peter Wass as well as Dr Kathy Bass, Head of Application Strategy at the UK Space Agency.

The academic session was followed by a public talk given by Jonathan Firth, the Executive Vice President of Spaceport and Program Development at Virgin Galactic.

Imperial Space Lab launched in July 2013 was set up to encourage new collaborations and increase translation activity between Imperial’s researchers and the space sector. The multidisciplinary virtual network consists of 140 researchers across space science, engineering, medicine and business.

Please see the full programme bellow or browse the abstracts of the keynote talks and read about the exciting range of work presented in the Research Marketplace.
