Terms of Reference
Responsibilities
- To scrutinise changes to existing programme curricula (including for existing collaborative provision) and short course provision in accordance with the College Academic Standards Framework and Programme and Module Modification Procedure and report recommendations to NSEC, to include:
- To scrutinise and review major modifications to existing UG/PGT modules and/or programmes for recommendation to NSEC.
- When applicable, scrutinise and review programme specifications for taught degree programmes and scrutinise and review course specifications for short course provision and report recommendations to NSEC, to include:
- To scrutinise and review new UG/PGT programme proposals for recommendation to NSEC.
NSEC retains the ability to action the above responsibilities without PDSC recommendation should this be necessary (for example, meeting necessary deadlines, or for practical considerations).

Agenda items (including papers) should be submitted to the committee secretary two weeks prior to the committee meeting. Papers will normally be circulated to members one week prior to the committee meeting.
