Terms of reference

  • To provide strategic oversight of the development and delivery of the I-Explore portfolio, ensuring continued alignment with the Learning and Teaching Strategy.
  • To decide which modules should be included in the new I-Explore programme.
  • To review proposals for new modules and to approve the allocation of development funding as required.
  • To review the module portfolio on a regular basis, to ensure that it remains relevant and aligned to strategy and to commission new modules as required.

Reports to the Learning and Teaching Committee.

Constitution

Assistant Provost (Learning & Teaching) as Chair; the Vice-Dean (Education) or equivalent from each Faculty; the Director of the Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship; the academic lead for each of the four streams of the programme; a senior representative from the Quality Assurance & Enhancement Team in Registry; the Deputy President (Education) Imperial College Union.
