How we run our campuses matters. We are committed to becoming sustainable, net-zero campuses by 2040, and we are committed to minimizing all kinds of pollution from our campuses.
Sustainability is one of the main priorities in our new Imperial strategy, Science for Humanity, and we have committed to leading by example in our activities and on our campuses. We have an ambition to lead the sector in becoming one of the lowest carbon, zero polluting, low consumption and biodiverse ecosystems within the constraints of our urban environments, by applying our academic strength and our commitment to safeguarding the future.
The Property Division are working with Loreus to achieve ISO 14001 for the Property Division. We will have reached EcoCampus Silver by July 2025 and be certified by NQA by December 2025. It is Imperial's intention to then roll out ISO 14001 to the wider Professional Services team on phased basis over the following years.
