Course Overview
This course is for those who have some basic knowledge of Arabic and aims to further develop your skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in a range of predictable situations and familiarise you with some simple grammar structures. The course materials will also broaden theyour understanding of the culture and daily life in the countries where the language is spoken. The focus of the class activities is on improving the communicative skills through role-plays, discussions and practical tasks.
Required Previous Experience (if any)
You should have completed Arabic 1 on the after:hours programme or have equivalent experience.
Required Reading Material or Special Equipment Needed (if any)
None required.

On completion of this course you will be better prepared to:
- talk about the self and others;
- discuss the weather and seasons;
- express likes and dislikes;
- make arrangements for travel and entertainment;
- talk about your work and daily routine, hobbies and interest
- begin to use the past and future tenses
- read Arabic script with increased proficiency.
