This will involve the setting up a series of projects to allow students to practise their painting.
Course Overview
Printmaking is one of the most instantly rewarding forms of image-making, with a history that goes back over a thousand years, and still going strong today.
We will introduce you to various printmaking techniques, through which you will have the opportunity to create interesting and effective images in a relatively short period of time. This craft also offers you the opportunity to develop techniques and skills further, giving you a lifetime of creative interest.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course you will be better prepared to:
- understand the technical qualities of different forms of printmaking as an art medium.
- use printmaking for the production of images in which you explore subject matter of interest to you, experimenting with both accurate representation and personal expression.
- have the confidence to experiment with printmaking and investigate different compositional elements in creating images.
