Imperial College Enterprise Funds offer alumni and individual investors an opportunity to invest in companies based on the remarkable research undertaken at Imperial College London through an early-stage, tax-efficient vehicle.

First launched in 2020, Imperial College Enterprise Funds are managed by Parkwalk Advisors

ICEF makes seed investments in early-stage, high-growth, research-intensive businesses that have emerged from Imperial's enterprising ecosystem. These could be spinouts based directly on academic research or deep science businesses developed by students.

ICEF has invested in 10 companies to date through its first two funds.

About the funds

Imperial College Enterprise Funds are managed by Parkwalk Advisors. Parkwalk is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:502237) in the UK.

Two funds have been raised and deployed to date.

Fund 3 (ICEF3) was announced in January 2024 and is currently raising funds. For information on ICEF 3, please visit the Parkwalk website.

How do the funds work?

Imperial Enterprise acts as an advisor to the Imperial College Enterprise Funds by sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities from Imperial’s enterprising ecosystem.

Opportunities are reviewed by the fund’s Investment Committee, which makes the final recommendation on investments from the fund.
