This section is for staff and students who organise internal events at Imperial.
Our team are here to make it easier and simpler for you to organise events at Imperial and we can help with a wide range of enquiries from room bookings, catering services to AV (audio-visual) support.

Seminar and Learning Centre (SALC) Room Bookings
Central Timetabling now manage room bookings for SaLC during term time, and spaces in this area can be requested via the Celcat Room Booker – more information can be found here. The Internal Events team can still assist with bookings during vacation periods, but only within 6 months of the booking date. If your booking falls into this criteria, contact us and we can help.
Supporting your events
We can support your events in many ways – catering, audio visual support, cleaning, furniture setups – but we can also assist with additional requests, such as help with ordering flowers, external furniture hire, and much more. If in doubt, just ask!
Check out our menus here. We offer a wide variety of delicious hot and cold catering, as well as a great selection of drinks to accompany your food. We can either deliver and collect, or provide service, depending on your booking/event needs. Catering can be ordered online (for bookings in South Ken Campus), or via a member of the team. If you are organising a special event and would like something a little more bespoke, we can also help with this (at least 6 weeks’ notice required) – just get in touch.
We can provide audio visual support for your events; from microphones for lectures/panel discussions, to LED Screens and poster boards for symposiums and exhibitions. We can also provide livestreaming services for hybrid events, as well as support for virtual events.
