Terms of reference
Imperial College’s Safeguarding Network consists of representatives from across Imperial College who have lead responsibility for activities involving under 18s or vulnerable adults.
The Network contributes to:
- protocols and procedures that reflect a best practice approach to safeguarding
- practice guidance to ensure clear accountability and training for those with responsibility for safeguarding
- the sharing of learning and casework developments to improve awareness and compliance
The Chair of the Network is the Director of Safeguarding who will take responsibility for coordination of Imperial College’s approach to safeguarding. An annual safeguarding report will be made to the Risk and Compliance Committee.
